Overnight Detour on the Eastbound Dulles Greenway
Monday, April 30
Tonight, Monday, April 30, from 10 p.m., until 4 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 1, eastbound Dulles Greenway traffic headed to the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) will be detoured to allow Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews to work overhead to install roofing on the Innovation Station Pedestrian Bridge that crosses over the eastbound Dulles Greenway.
When: Monday, April 30, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
What: Eastbound Dulles Greenway traffic detoured to Route 28 at Main Toll Plaza
Where: From mile marker 10.5 through the Main Toll Plaza. Detour: All eastbound Greenway traffic will be detoured gradually to the far right lanes, through the Main Toll Plaza, to the Dulles Airport/Centreville Exit 9A/Route 28 South. To enter the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) from Route 28 south, continue for approximately 5/10 mile and take the right exit onto Route 267 East Washington.
Why: Overhead work on the Innovation Station south pedestrian bridge
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all police and flagger instructions, signage, and barricades. Large, slow moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
