Eastbound Dulles Access Highway Traffic to be detoured to Eastbound Dulles Toll Road for work at future Herndon station
Friday, May 17, 9 p.m. through Saturday, May 18, 5 a.m.
Beginning on or about Friday, May 17 at 9 p.m. and continuing until Saturday, May 18 at 5 a.m., Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will closure of a portion of the eastbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) because of work at the future Herndon Metrorail Station.
At mile marker 2.7, east of Centreville Road, Airport Port Access Road traffic will be redirected to the left lane of the westbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR). A second left DTR lane closed as a buffer. At mile marker 4.0, near Fairfax County Parkway, traffic will be directed to re-enter the DIAAH. See graphic below of Herndon Station.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
