Eastbound Dulles Access Highway Traffic to be detoured to Eastbound Dulles Toll Road
Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly
Beginning on or about Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (DCMP) crews will be performing milling, paving and striping near Innovation and Herndon Stations, requiring the full closure of a portion of the eastbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH).
The lane closure will begin at mile marker 1.5, including closure of the left lane of the Route 28 toll plaza. At mile marker 1.8, traffic will be redirected to the left lane of the westbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR) from the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH). At mile marker 4.0, near Fairfax County Parkway, traffic will be able to re-enter the DIAAH. See graphic below.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
