Left Lane Closures on Eastbound Dulles Access Highway with 20-Minute Stoppages for Overhead Pedestrian Bridge Work

from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nightly
On Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (DCMP) crews will be performing pedestrian bridge work, requiring the closure of a single left lane on sections of the eastbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH). On Wednesday, July 17, the left lane between mile markers 3.3 and 3.7 near Herndon station will be closed, and on Thursday, July 18, the left lane between mile markers 4.6 and 5.0 near Reston Station will be closed. Drivers can expect up to 20-minute police assisted stoppages in the right lane to ensure protection from overhead operations. See graphics below.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
