Right Lane Closure on Eastbound Dulles Toll Road
for Pedestrian Bridge Work
Beginning on or about Wednesday, Jan.13, at 7 p.m. and continuing until 5 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 14, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (DCMP) crews will be performing pedestrian bridge work along the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR), requiring the full closure of one right lane and narrowing of the ramp to Fairfax County Parkway.Closures begin at mile marker 3.1, about 3/10 mile west of Van Buren Street, and continue through mile marker 3.7at HerndonStation. The closure will impede the exit at Fairfax County Parkway, and there will be police on site to assist traffic in exiting safely. Traffic exiting from the eastbound DTR should be aware of the change in pattern and can expect up to 20 minute stoppages between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.(see map below).
