Partial Closure of Exit Lane From Saarinen Circle to Dulles Airport Garages Beginning March 25
Dulles International Airport will experience a long-term partial exit lane closure that will modify traffic flow for vehicles exiting Saarinen Circle to Garages 1 and 2. Beginning on March 25 and ending on May 21, concrete barriers will be installed to create a safe work area in front of the Dulles Airport Station and the exit lane that leads to the parking garages will be shortened (see graphic below). This closure will facilitate the on-going construction of the glass windscreen structure on the south side of the Dulles Airport Station as part of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. On Saarinen Circle, the three (3) existing through traffic lanes to the Terminal, as well as the dedicated exit lane to the parking bowl, will remain in full operation during this work.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
