Temporary Closure of Enclosed Walkway at Dulles International Airport for Silver Line Station Construction
On or about Friday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will close the enclosed walkway between the Terminal Public Parking Lot and the Main Terminal to facilitate utility work related to the construction of Metrorail’s Silver Line Dulles Airport Station. Elevators and stairs leading to the enclosed walkway will be out of service during this period, and there will be no access to the enclosed walkway from the Main Terminal.
The enclosed walkway between the Terminal Public Parking Lot and the Main Terminal will reopen after the utility work is complete. NOTE: The northern portion of the enclosed walkway between the Terminal Public Parking Lot and Garage 1 will remain closed.
· Pedestrian access to the Terminal Public Parking Lot from the Main Terminal will be available via the Baggage Claim/Lower Level.
· Transportation between Garage 1 and the Main Terminal will continue to be provided by shuttle buses that will pick up and drop off passengers at the three shuttle bus stops on the south side of Garage 1.
