DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT - PHASE 2
Lane Closures and Detours Tonight on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway and Dulles Greenway- Friday, Jan. 13
Nighttime construction activities will take place on Friday, Jan. 13, causing lane closures and detours on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway and Dulles Greenway.
Drivers are asked to use caution, remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. DCMP crews are monitoring the weather forecast closely, and in the event of snow or ice, no lane closures or detours will occur.
Dulles Toll Road (DTR) East
When: Friday, Jan. 13 - Saturday, Jan. 14, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
What: Left lane closed
Where: From mile marker 3.1 to 3.5 (from 3/10 mile before the Van Buren/Monroe Street overpass to 1/10 mile past the Van Buren/Monroe Street overpass)
Why: Civil work
Dulles Toll Road (DTR) West
When: Friday, Jan. 13 - Saturday, Jan. 14, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Right lane closed
Where: From mile marker 3.9 to 3.3 (from 3/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 1/10 mile past the Monroe Street/Van Buren Street overpass)
Why: Civil work
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Friday, Jan. 13 - Saturday, Jan. 14, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Full closure begins at 10 p.m.; follow detour. Road reopens at 5 a.m.
Where: From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.3 (near the Rudder Road overpass)
Why: Installation of a concrete span across the eastbound DIAAH
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Friday, Jan. 13 - Saturday, Jan. 14, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. What: Left lane closed
Where: From mile marker 4.1 to 3.3 (from 1/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 1/10 mile past the Monroe Street/Van Buren Street overpass)
Why: Civil work
Dulles Greenway East
When: Friday, Jan. 13 - Saturday, Jan. 14, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
What: Two left lanes closed
Where: From mile marker 11.0 to 12.0 (from the Old Ox Road overpass to 4/10 mile before the mainline toll plaza)
Why: Aerial guideway construction
