DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT - PHASE 2
Lane Closures and Detour Tonight on the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH), Dulles Greenway, Airport Roads and Centreville Road - Thursday, August 18
Nighttime construction activities will take place Thursday, August 18, causing lane closures and a detour on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Greenway, Airport Roads and Centreville Road.
On Thursday, August 18, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the eastbound and westbound lanes of Rudder Road will be closed between Autopilot Drive and Air Freight Lane, and the right lane of northbound and southbound Autopilot Drive will be closed from Rudder Road to the Hertz driveway. Follow detour signs around the work area. All cargo and car rental facilities will be accessible.
All work is weather dependent.

Where: From mile marker 4.0 to 3.3 (from 2/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 1/10 mile past the Monroe Street overpass)

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Thursday, August 18 - Friday, August 19, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Eastbound lane reductions begin at 9 p.m. Eastbound full closure begin at 10 p.m. Follow detour; EB DIAAH reopens at 5 a.m.
Where: From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.3 (near the Rudder Road overpass)
Why: Installation of a concrete span across the eastbound DIAAH
When: Thursday, August 18 - Friday, August 19, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. What: Right lane closed (ramp to eastbound Dulles Toll Road at mile marker 1.8 will remain open) Where: From mile marker 1.2 to 2.0 (between the Route 28 and the Monroe/Van Buren Street overpasses). Why: Directional drilling operation
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Thursday, August 18 - Friday, August 19, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Right lane closed
Where: From mile marker 4.0 to 3.3 (from 2/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 1/10 mile past the Monroe Street overpass)

Where: From mile marker 11.0 to 10.4 (from the Old Ox Road overpass to 1/10 mile past the Broad Run bridge)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lanes for concrete operation
