DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT
Lane Closures Tonight, October 22, 2015
Nighttime construction activities will take place Thursday, October 22, causing lane closures on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Greenway and Centreville Road.
Crews will continue the bridge work at night over Centreville Road at the intersection of the entrance and exit ramps for the eastbound and westbound Dulles Toll Road. Drivers may experience minor delays due to lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Dulles Toll Road (DTR) East
When: Thursday, October 22 – Friday October 23, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Left lane closed
Where: From mile marker 4.3 to 5.3 (from 1/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 1/10 mile after the Reston Parkway overpass)
Why: Utility work
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Thursday, October 22 – Friday, October 23, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Left lane closed
Where: From mile marker 3.1 to 2.5 (from 3/10 mile past the Monroe Street overpass to the Centreville Road overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West/Saarinen Circle
When: Thursday, October 22 – Friday, October 23, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Three left lanes closed
Where: From mile marker 0.1 to Copilot Way (from 5/10 mile past the Rudder Road overpass to Copilot Way)
Why: Striping
Dulles Greenway West
When: Friday, October 23, 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Two left lanes closed
Where: From mile marker 11.4 to 10.5 (from 4/10 mile before the Old Ox Road overpass to the Broad Run bridge)
Why: Bridge girder installation
Centreville Road North and South
When: Thursday, October 22 – Friday, October 23, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Right lanes closed
Where: Northbound and southbound Centreville Road between Woodland Park and Parcher Avenue. Note: Drivers may experience delays.
Why: Overhead installation of floor and deck beams at the Centreville Road Bridge
