Important Lane and Ramp Closures for the Week of March 31 - April 6
Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews continue construction activities for the Metrorail Silver Line Phase 2 that require lane, shoulder, and road closures and detours at locations along the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH), Dulles Greenway, Autopilot Drive, Herndon Parkway, Edmund Halley Drive, Sunrise Valley Drive, Sunset Hills Road, Lockridge Road, and Moran Road during the week of March 31 - April 6, 2019.In addition, there will be lane closures along the Phase 1 alignment as listed below.

PLEASE USE CAUTION and remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions. Slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads.

Dulles Toll Road East
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 1.3 to 5.2 (from just west of the Route 28 overpass to the Reston Parkway overpass)
Why: Civil work
Dulles Toll Road West
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 5.7 to 1.5 (between the Route 28 and Reston Parkway overpasses)
Why: Civil work
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Saturday, April 6, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 0.0 to 8.0 (from the Aviation Drive overpass to Hunter Mill Road)
Why: Civil work
When: Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 6, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. What: Detour
Where: From mile marker 2.7 to 4.0 (from Centreville Road to Fairfax County Parkway)

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Saturday, April 6, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 7.3 to 0.0 (from approximately 7/10 mile west of Hunter Mill Road to approximately 200 feet beyond the Copilot Way ramp on Saarinen Circle near the Dulles Airport Terminal)
Why: Civil and Dulles Airport Metrorail Station work will be taking place within the closures
When: Monday, April 1 to Saturday, April 6, 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. What: Left shoulder closure
Where: From mile marker 1.2 to 0.3 (from Route 28 to Saarinen Circle)
Why: Civil work
Dulles Connector Road - East
When: Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
What: Left lane closure
Where: From 500 feet before Margarity Road Overpass to 2500 feet after Margarity Road Overpass
Why: Grading for drainage
Dulles Greenway East
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What: Alternating left and right lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 7.6 to 14.0 (from approximately 2/10 mile west of Waxpool Road to the Dulles Toll Road)
Why: Civil work
When: Tuesday, April 2 to Wednesday, April 3, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Double left lane closure
Where: From mile marker 7.5 to 9.0 (from approximately 2/10 mile west of Waxpool Road to the east end of 772 Station)
Why: Pedestrian bridge utilities
Dulles Greenway West
When: Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What: Alternating left and right lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 12.2 to 7.6 (from the Moran Road exit to Broadlands Boulevard overpass)
Why: Civil work
When: Tuesday, April 2 to Wednesday, April 3, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Double left lane closure
Where: From mile marker 10.0 to 8.5 (from Loudoun County Parkway to Ashburn Village Blvd)
Why: Pedestrian bridge utilities
Route 123 South
Monday, April 1, through Thursday, April 4, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

What: Left turn lane closure
Where: From 200 feet before Old Meadow Road to Old Meadow Road
Why: Utility relocation work
Herndon Parkway East
When: Monday, April 1 to Thursday, April 4, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, April 5, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: Right lane closed
Where: From 1000 feet east of Van Buren Street to 800 feet west of Exchange Place

Sunrise Valley Drive West
When: Monday, April 1 to Thursday, April 4, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, April 5, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
