Weekend Lane Closures on the Dulles Toll Road and
Dulles International Airport Access Highway
Construction activities will take place throughout the weekend, Friday through Sunday, September 25 - 27, causing lane closures on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) and Dulles Toll Road (DTR).
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Friday, September 25 -Saturday, September 26, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Sunday, September 27, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. (rain date)
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 3.1 to 4.1 (from just before the Monroe Street overpass to just before the Fairfax County Parkway overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Friday, September 25 - Saturday, September 26, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Sunday, September 27, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. (rain date)
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 4.2 to 3.7 (from just after the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to just
after the Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
Dulles Toll Road (DTR) West
When: Friday, September 25 - Saturday, September 26, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Sunday, September 27, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (rain date)
What: Left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 5.3 to 4.2 (from just before the Reston Parkway overpass to the Fairfax County overpass)
Why: Jack and bore operations
