Construction Safety Training at Dulles Airport
Tuesday, Jan. 10 - Thursday, Jan. 12, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On or about Tuesday, Jan. 10 through Thursday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., public safety crews from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, in coordination with the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, will be hosting Construction Safety Training exercises at Dulles International Airport near the intersection of Rudder Road and Air Freight Lane. This event is part of the multi-jurisdictional safety training program, specific to the construction of Phase 2 of the Metrorail Silver Line, which has been underway since work began in June 2014.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and remain attentive on airport roads as large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the training area at various times.
