Daily Lane Closures Continue Along Eastbound, Dulles Connector Road, July 5 - July 10
Daily lane closures remain along eastbound DCR for Tuesday, July 5 to Sunday, July 10 permitting Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews to complete work related to the shoulder reconstruction.
The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project is making these enhancements at the request of the Virginia Department of Transportation as part of the Silver Line Phase 1 project. Please see detailed information below.
Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) – EAST
When: Tuesday, July 5, 12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
What: Single left lane closure
Where: From 1500 feet before Dolley Madison Boulevard to 1400 feet before Idylwood Road
Why: Shoulder reconstruction
When: Wednesday, July 6, to Friday, July 8, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
What: Single left lane closure
Where: From 1500 feet before Dolley Madison Boulevard to 1400 feet before Idylwood Road
Why: Shoulder reconstruction
When: Tuesday, July 5, to Sunday, July 10, 9:30 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Right shoulder taper
Where: From 100 feet after Margarity Road to 1100 feet after Idylwood Road
Why: Installation of signage and cones
When: Tuesday, July 5, to Sunday, July 10, 9:30 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Single left lane closure
Where: From 200 before Pimmit Run to 1500 feet after Idylwood Road
Why: Installation of signage and cones
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Drivers should use extreme caution in the areas and allow extra time to travel in these areas.
