REMINDER: Eastbound Dulles Access Highway Traffic to be detoured to Eastbound Dulles Toll Road for Storm Sewer Work
Friday, April 19, 10 p.m. through Sunday, April 21, 5 a.m.
Beginning on or about Friday, April 19 at 10 p.m. and continuing until Sunday, April 21 at 5 a.m., Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (DCMP) crews will be performing storm sewer work near Herndon Station, requiring the full closure of a portion of the eastbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH).
At mile marker 2.7, traffic will be redirected to the left lane of the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR) from the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH). There will be a second left DTR lane closed as a buffer. At mile marker 4.0, near Fairfax County Parkway, traffic will be able to re-enter the DIAAH. See graphic below.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
