On or about Tuesday, June 2, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will close the right lanes of Saarinen Circle coming into the airport from the westbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway for the removal of a sign that spans the roadway.
Access to the Terminal and the Hourly Parking Lot will be maintained, except while the sign is being lifted and moved. For reasons of safety, one or more complete closures of up to 20 minutes each will occur just east of the work area.
The sign is being removed to facilitate the reconfiguration of Saarinen Circle in order to provide the space necessary for the construction of the Silver Line Dulles Airport Station on the north side of Saarinen Circle in front of Daily Garage 1.
Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic as needed, and police will be present. Drivers should exercise caution, pay attention to barriers and signage, and obey all police and flagger instructions.
