Temporary Reduction of Travel Lanes on Saarinen Circle

Temporary Reduction of Travel Lanes on Saarinen Circle
Dulles International Airport patrons and employees should be aware that the existing partial exit lane closure that modifies traffic flow for vehicles entering Saarinen Circle and exiting to Garages 1 and 2 will be expanded to two lanes starting on August 25, 2020 and will remain in place until October 20, 2020 (see graphic below). This additional lane closure will facilitate installation of the glass panels for the windscreen on the south side of station as part of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. Two (2) traffic lanes for access to the Terminal, in addition to the ramps to the parking garages and the parking bowl will remain in operation throughout this period.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
