Tower Crane Removal at Ashburn Metrorail Station Requires Double Left Lane Closure of the Eastbound Dulles Greenway
Friday, Feb. 23 - Sunday, Feb. 25
On or about Friday night, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. and continuing until early Monday morning, Feb. 26 at 5 a.m., the two left lanes of the eastbound Dulles Greenway, between the Broadlands Boulevard and Loudoun County Parkway overpasses, will be closed so Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews can disassemble and remove the tower crane located within the future Ashburn Metrorail construction site. All work is weather permitting.
Friday, Feb. 23, 8 p.m. - midnight
Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24-25
During daylight hours:
Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will disassemble and remove the large tower crane located within the Ashburn Station site.
Monday, Feb. 26, 5 a.m.:
Drivers are asked to use caution and remain attentive to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
