Triple Left Lane Closure with 20-Minute Stoppages Coming Overnights on Eastbound Dulles Toll Road
Wednesday night, June 19 to Monday morning, June 24,
10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly
Beginning on or about Wednesday night, June 19 and continuing until Monday morning, June 24, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (DCMP) crews will be performing milling, paving, and striping work along the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (DTR), requiring the full closure of three left lanes nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning at mile marker 1.9 near Herndon Station and continuing to mile marker 4.5 just beyond Fairfax County Parkway. Drivers using the eastbound DTR should watch for signs and expect up to 20-minute full stoppages (see image below).
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers are asked to use caution and pay attention to all signage and barricades. Large, slow-moving vehicles may be exiting and entering the highway at various times.
A 24/7 emergency hotline is available for Phase 2 Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project construction-related issues: 844-385-7245. For general project information: www.dullesmetro.com or 703-572-0506.
