"Wide Load" Truck Deliveries to Dulles Airport and Construction Site Entrance off of Dulles Toll Road/Exit 11 Ramp for Monday, Feb. 6 - Wednesday, Feb. 8
On or about Monday, Feb. 6 through Wednesday, Feb. 8, trucks will be delivering a total of five (5) prefabricated sections of a Silver Line support facility to a construction site located just west of the Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride, in Herndon, Virginia. The deliveries will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. as follows:
Mon. Feb. 6: Three (3) building sections delivered to Dulles Airport Route: I-95N to I-495N to I-66W to Route 28N to Dulles Airport
Tue. Feb 7: Three (3) building sections delivered from Dulles Airport to Construction Site Route: Dulles Airport to eastbound Dulles Access Highway (DIAAH) to Route 267/Dulles Toll Road (DTR) at mile-marker 1.7 to Exit 11 into construction site via exit ramp Two (2) building sections delivered to Dulles Airport Route: I-95N to I-495N to I-66W to Route 28N to Dulles Airport
Wed. Feb 8: Two (2) building sections delivered from Dulles Airport to Construction Site Route: Dulles Airport to eastbound Dulles Access Highway (DIAAH) to Route 267/Dulles Toll Road (DTR) at mile-marker 1.7 to Exit 11 into construction site via exit ramp Because of the size of the building sections, the trucks are designated “wide load” and will be accompanied by two escort vehicles.
