Dulles Airport

The Silver Line will branch off from the Dulles Toll Road for one station at Washington Dulles International Airport. The guideway will travel along Saarinen Circle, to Autopilot Drive and back to the Dulles Greenway, where it will stay for the remainder of the alignment.

The station will be located in front of daily garage #1, facing the terminal. Travelers will be able to access the existing underground moving walkways from the station to the terminal by escalator.

Currently, geotechnical work is finishing at the airport, with over 1,500 sites tested. Trees have been removed from around the station location, and relocated to other parts of airport property. Finally, columns and caps are being poured along the alignment that will support the guideway.

In addition, the GSE building has been demolished to accommodate the project.
