DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT
Lane Closures Tonight and this Weekend, Friday - Sunday, March 13 - March 15, 2015
Road work will take place Friday night through early Sunday morning, March 13 - March 15, causing lane closures on the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) and Autopilot Drive.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Dulles Toll Road East
When: Friday, March 13 - Saturday, March 14, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 1.4 to 4.2 (from 2/10 mile past the Route 28 overpass to the Fairfax County Parkway)
Why: Drilling
Dulles Toll Road West
When: Saturday, March 14, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Two left lanes closed
Where: From mile marker 2.9 to 1.4 (from 4/10 mile before the Centreville Road overpass to 2/10 mile before the Route 28 overpass)
Why: Electrical work
When: Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 4.2 to 1.4 (from the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 2/10 mile before the Route 28 overpass)
Why: Drilling
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Saturday, March 14, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 0.6 to 2.7 (from the Dulles Greenway ramp overpass to 2/10 mile past the Centreville Road overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
When: Saturday, March 14, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 3.2 to 5.4 (from 2/10 mile after the Monroe Street overpass to 2/10 mile before the Reston Parkway overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When: Saturday, March 14, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 2.7 to 0.6 (from 2/10 mile before the Centreville Road overpass to the Dulles Greenway ramp overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
When: Saturday, March 14, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 5.4 to 3.2 (from 2/10 mile before the Reston Parkway overpass to 2/10 mile after the Monroe Street overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane

What: Alternating right and left lane closures
Where: From mile marker 0.3 to Copilot Way (from 2/10 mile after the Rudder Road overpass, continuing along Saarinen Circle past Daily Garage 1)
Why: Road Work
Autopilot Drive
When: Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
What: Left lane closed
Where: Southbound Autopilot Drive from 800 feet north of the intersection of Rudder Road and Autopilot Drive to 250 feet north of the intersection (in the vicinity of the Hertz car rental lot). Flaggers will be present at the Hertz and police/fire parking lot entrances.
Why: Utility relocation
