Important Lane and Ramp Closures for the
Week of Sept. 23 - Sept. 29
Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews continue construction activities for the Metrorail Silver Line Phase 2 that require lane, shoulder, and road closures and detours at locations along the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH), Dulles Greenway, Autopilot Drive, Herndon Parkway, Edmund Halley Drive, Sunrise Valley Drive, Sunset Hills Road and Moran Road during the week of Sept. 23 - Sept. 29, 2018. In addition, there will be lane closures near the Phase 1 alignment as listed below.
See below for more specific dates, times and details and remember that all work is weather permitting.
PLEASE USE CAUTION and remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions. Slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads.

Dulles Toll Road East
When: Monday, Sept. 24 - Friday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where:From mile marker 1.3 to 5.2 (from just west of the Route 28 overpass to the Reston Parkway overpass)
Why: Civil work
When: Saturday, Sept. 29 - Sunday, Sept. 30, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
What: Detour
Where: From mile marker 3.5 to 4.0 (traffic to be detoured onto the CD Ramp at Exit 11, then access back to the EB DTR just before the Fairfax County Parkway exit).

When: Monday, Sept. 24 - Friday, Sept. 28, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where:From mile marker 5.7 to 1.5 (between the Route 28 and Reston Parkway overpasses)

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Monday, Sept. 24 - Friday, Sept. 28, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 29, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where:From mile marker 0.0 to 5.7 (from the Aviation Drive overpass to 5/10 mile after the Reston Parkway overpass)

Where: From mile maker 1.5 to 2.4 (from approximately 2/10 mile east of the Route 28 overpass to just east of Innovation Station)
