DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT - PHASE 2
Lane closures on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway and Airport Roads this Weekend
Construction activities will take place overnight on Friday, July 10 and Sunday, July 12, causing lane closures on the Dulles Toll Road (DTR), Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) and Autopilot Drive.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Dulles Toll Road (DTR) East
When: Friday, July 10, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Two left lanes closed
Where: From mile marker 1.8 to 3.5 (from 6/10 mile after the Route 28 overpass to 1/10 mile after the Monroe Street overpass)
Why: Utility work
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When: Friday, July 10, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Right lane closed
Where: From mile marker 2.5 to 3.5 (from the Centreville Road overpass to 1/10 mile after the
Monroe Street overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
When: Sunday, July 12, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Alternating right and left lane closures of varying lengths
Where: From mile marker 3.2 to 4.0 (from 2/10 mile before the Monroe Street overpass to 2/10 mile before the Fairfax County Parkway overpass)
Why: Construction entrance acceleration/deceleration lane
Autopilot Drive
When: Friday, July 10, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What: Left lane closed
Where: Northbound Autopilot Drive from Rudder Road to the Avis entrance
Why: Road work, barrier shifting, and utility work
