Daily Lane Closures Remain Along Westbound, Dulles Connector Road, July 18 - July 22
Daily lane closures remain along westbound DCR for Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22 permitting Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews to complete work related to the shoulder reconstruction.
The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project is making these enhancements at the request of the Virginia Department of Transportation as part of the Silver Line Phase 1 project. Please see detailed information below.
Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) – WEST
When: Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Single left shoulder taper
Where: From 250 feet before Bus Ramp A to 1000 feet after Haycock Road
Why: Installation of signage and concrete barriers
When: Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Single left lane closure
Where: From 1900 feet before Idylwood Road to 1000 feet after Haycock Road
Why: Installation of signage and concrete barriers
When: Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Right shoulder taper
Where: From 410 feet after Great Falls Church to 100 feet after Idylwood Road
Why: Installation of signage and concrete barriers
When: Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
What: Single left lane closure
Where: From 1900 before Idylwood Road to 2100 feet after Idylwood Road
Why: Installation of signage and concrete barriers

Where: From 2200 before Idylwood Road to 2100 feet after Idylwood Road
Why: Installation of signage and cones
