Intermittent Lane Closures and Detours on Eastbound DIAAH
Continue at Night into the Spring
On or about Monday, Feb. 1, and continuing intermittently into the spring, the eastbound Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH), near the Dulles Terminal, will be reduced to one or two right lanes beginning at 9 p.m. Then, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., drivers heading eastbound on the DIAAH will be detoured to Aviation Drive and onto the ramp at the north end of Windsock Drive and back onto the DIAAH. Police and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic as needed.
The closures are necessary to allow aerial guideway construction of the Silver Line Metrorail to take place over portions of the eastbound side of the DIAAH near the Dulles Terminal.

Lane closures and detours of the eastbound DIAAH will continue at night as needed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday through Saturday, weather permitting, throughout the winter and spring months.
Drivers should exercise caution, pay attention to barriers and signage, and obey all police and flagger instructions.
