Lane Closures Planned Along Eastbound Route 7, Dec. 9 - Dec. 13
Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will close the right eastbound turn lane along Route 7 from Monday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 13. Crews will be making sidewalk and other repairs near the Silver Line Phase 1 alignment. 
Signs will be posted. Please see detailed information below:
  • All business entrances will remain open.
  • When sections of sidewalks are closed in some areas, pedestrians may be directed to use sidewalks of the opposite side of Route 7.
  • Pedestrians seeking to use the Greensboro and Spring Hill Metrorail stations or adjacent businesses also may be redirected to alternate walking patterns for short periods of time.
Route 7 - East
When:  Monday, Dec. 9, through Thursday, Dec. 12, 9: 30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 13, 9: 30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What:   Right turn lane closure
Where: From Westwood Center Drive to 1000 feet after Spring Hill Road
Why:    Underdrain and sidewalk work
