Saarinen Circle Lane Shifts at Dulles Airport
On or about Thursday, October 22 and continuing into the week of October 26, Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews will finalize the second phase of lane shifts on Saarinen Circle near Daily Garage 1 at Washington Dulles International Airport. This new configuration of Saarinen Circle is temporary and provides room for Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project crews to continue construction of the Dulles Airport Metrorail Station.
Striping and barrier placement will take place along Saarinen Circle during daytime and nighttime hours. Large, slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be exiting and entering airport roads at various times. Lane and shoulder closures will occur, and drivers should be alert to changing conditions as the work progresses. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
